ADHD Testing
We offer comprehensive ADHD testing utilizing QbCheck, a highly reliable and scientifically validated tool for assessing ADHD symptoms. QbCheck combines questionnaires with a computerized test to evaluate three core symptoms of ADHD: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention.
The process involves the following steps:
-
Initial Consultation:
-
As part of an initial intake appointment we will gather detailed clinical history and understand your specific concerns and discuss all symptoms and possible causes.
-
While ADHD can be prominent, there are many mental health diagnosis that can mimic this disorder. With Terry's help, the best course of action and a treatment plan will be discussed.
-
Testing may not be suggested as first line of treatment.
-
-
QbCheck Assessment: This involves a 15-20 minute computerized test where you will perform specific tasks designed to measure your attention levels, impulse control, and physical movement.
-
Data Analysis: The results from QbCheck are analyzed and compared to standard data sets, providing a clear picture of whether ADHD characteristics are present.

-
Comprehensive Review: Terry Taylor will review the QbCheck results alongside your clinical history and any other relevant information.
-
Feedback and Next Steps: During a follow up appointment, you will receive a thorough explanation of the results, and if necessary, a treatment plan that may include medication management options or other referral interventions.
Our goal is to ensure a precise diagnosis and provide a tailored approach to manage ADHD effectively, helping you achieve better mental health and improved daily functioning.
